Mission
Imaging that patients can walk into.
Access first
Imaging should not begin with a lift cycle. Every unit we build starts from the patient's first step, not from the equipment list.
Built, not adapted
Design and production happen in Toronto, engineered around the scanner, the site and the patient flow rather than fitted around a stock shell.
No site works
A standard truck delivers it. No crane, no foundation, no building permit — so a program can start in days rather than seasons.
History
From sixty inches to ten.
The problem
Conventional mobile MRI trailers sit around 60 inches off the ground. Patients climb stairs or wait through a wheelchair or stretcher lift cycle, and every transfer costs time, staff and dignity.
The idea
Apply the low-floor bus principle to a diagnostic trailer: drop the deck, widen the opening and let people walk straight in.
The unit
The Apex WalkIn MRI — a 10-inch step-free entrance with 52-inch clear double sliding doors, 110 inches of scan room ceiling, four rooms across 57 by 8.5 by 13.5 feet, and a magnet that stays on field between sites.
What's next
The WalkIn CT and WalkIn PET-CT are coming on the same platform, so a site that can take one can take the next.
